FHP Property Consultants acting jointly with Savills are delighted to announce the sale of Alpha House, Bulwell days before it reached the auction room! Alpha House, a property comprising a range of office and industrial accommodation totalling 9,867ft² was due to be entered into the March Savills auction. Strong interest was generated only days after putting the property on the market and several offers received.

Ilkeston based, family run business, Tank Farm Services successfully secured the premises, ahead of the auction date. Jason Tooley, Managing Director commented “We have been actively looking for new business premises for the past six months, this property ticked all the boxes in terms of the company’s expansion plans and we will be investing further in upgrading the property. The search for a new premises was prompted by gaining substantial orders totalling £2m for the supply & installation of  tank cleaning equipment to a Middle Eastern and a Major UK oil company.”

Vendor, Steve Ellis of Ellis Interiors commented

“We have found the auction process to be very effective and unlike the Private Treaty method of sale where properties can remain on the market for several months, the sale was concluded in a matter of weeks and a far stronger sale price has been achieved.  The swift sale will allow us to relocate to a new showroom where we can place more emphasis on the display of the finished products and where customers can see for themselves the quality of our kitchens and discuss their own bespoke requirements.”
