Office - Acquisitions

Fisher Hargreaves Proctor recently completed the acquisition of one of Nottingham’s most prestigious office buildings. The property was purchased by KCH Barristers to provide more space for Nottingham's largest set of barrister’s chambers and to provide first-rate facilities for its staff and clients. Head of chambers James Howlett commented

"This is a tremendous opportunity, after working for years in over crowded premises, to provide a building which will enable us to give our clients the best possible service".

From the beginning KCH had their own clear and distinct views on what they were seeking; this was tempered by a thorough and proper analysis of exactly what the business needed in terms of a space audit and therefore from the outset of an office acquisition instruction the first thing that we need to try and fully understand what are the main reasons for a move. Is it a space driven requirement, a purely operational image-based requirement or perhaps investment driven - priorities need to be set.

By understanding in depth the business's needs and the strategic objectives it enables us to not simply search through our own eyes but to search for new property from our client's perspective.

These factors, coupled with our knowledge of the area, enable us to guide you through the legal minefield involved in the acquisition process and hopefully leave you to concentrate on your core business.
