Nottingham City Centre’s skyline is due to take a drastic change over the course of the next 24 months with a number of key developments underway.  The developments include Unity Square, which is pre-let to the HMRC for a new regional government property unit (GPU) of 275,000ft² on a 25-year lease with construction on site.

The second notable development within Nottingham City Centre is the Nottingham College site which is a new £58 million city hub campus fronting onto Canal Street and due to complete in 2020.  Further developments in the city include the refurbishment of the City Buildings on Carrington Street, offering creative design led office space of up to 45,000ft² across 3 floorplates.

A further new development is set to happen on Crocus Place with planning approved for a 125,000ft² grade A office block in the south side of Nottingham with construction due to begin in Autumn 2019 and the building opened in Spring 2021.

FHP Property Consultants are delighted to be involved in a number of these schemes as well as excited by the prospect of a new skyline for the city centre which will provide both good quality office space as well as create new jobs for Nottingham.
