FHP Accounting Services – Accounts Assistant, FHP Property Consultants, City Centre Office

Who we are looking for ?

You will have confidence, enthusiasm and drive all tied in with a friendly attitude.

You need to be confident working with numbers taking pride in your attention to detail and some accounting experience (around 2 years’ experience). Some service charge accounting experience would be an advantage but not essential.

Key responsibilities
  • Assisting with the preparation of service charge accounts which will involve reviewing income and expenditure, calculating prepayments and accruals, monitoring actual vs Budgeted spend and agreeing to the trial balance.
  • Regular Liaison with Property Managers will be required to agree and finalise service charge year end accounts.
  • Liaison with external accountants and reviewing draft service charge accounts before finalisation.
  • Recording and analysing project costs on a daily basis for a separate business.
  • Ensuring the integrity of accounting records and controls in line with prevailing legislation

You’ll also be exposed to wider duties such as completing statutory accounts, management accounts and filing VAT returns.

Hours: Full time Monday - Friday
Salary: Dependant on experience with 25 days holiday and pension

  • Leading the team to successful letting of all instructions, demonstrating clear communication skills between landlords, tenants and guarantors ensuring swift applications.
