HEALTHY OUTLOOK FOR SHERWOOD OAKS –5-Mar-2010

The letting of Unit 3, Sherwood Oaks Business Park has just completed to St Andrews Healthcare, a National healthcare operator.  The property forms part of Sherwood Oaks Business Park and extends to 5,000ft² over two floors of high quality, open plan office accommodation.

The deal was agreed between Alastair Fearn of Fisher Hargreaves Proctor on behalf of Regal Sherwood Oaks, the landlord and Shaun Galvin of Hertfordshire based surveyors SBH.  The premises will provide high quality space which St Andrews Healthcare will use for a mixture of administration, training and recruitment.

Warren Irving of St Andrews Healthcare commented:

“The acquisition of this office will enable us to recruit and train employees for our new care facility which is located nearby.  We hope to have our new care facility open over the Summer of 2010 and I am extremely happy that we have been able to secure high quality premises to support this.”

Mark Holbeche of the developer, Regal Sherwood Oaks, added:

"The addition of St Andrews Healthcare to Sherwood Oaks is in line with other activity on the site.  We are already receiving a number of enquires for the remaining office space on site and we are also in detailed negotiations with a leisure operator who are looking to purchase part of the front site for a pub/diner.

The transformation of the site over the past 18 months is extremely encouraging and I would recommend that people visit the site to see progress for themselves.”

Alastair Fearn of Fisher Hargreaves Proctor, who advised Regal Sherwood Oaks, commented:

"This letting now means that we are able to accommodate office occupiers looking for space from 1,500ft² up to 6,000ft².  The units are self contained and provide high quality open plan office accommodation with perhaps most importantly ample car parking on site.”
