FHP have been involved in managing service charges in all sectors of the property market for over 20 years. We are fully conversant with the RICS Code of Service Charge Practice, and are subject to regular RICS audit and review.
Service charges can often lead to issues for both Tenant and Landlord, with issues such as high costs or low levels of service. Using our experience, our in-house systems and our knowledge, we are able to review all types of service charge arrangements both historical and proposed.
We have acted for both Landlords and Tenants in such matters, providing recommendations, negotiation and audit services based upon best practice and the RICS Code of Service Charge Practice. We can review and advise on existing and proposed service charge clauses for the benefit of both Landlords and Tenants.
