FHP are delighted to have assisted in the acquisition of Brunel House.  Brunel House was a 6,961ft² detached office building with excellent car parking and substantial hardstanding fenced yard in a prominent position on a 1.2 acre site.

Brunel Drive is the prime and most established industrial estate in Newark, located approximately 1.5 miles east of Newark town centre and within 0.5 miles of the intersection of the A46(T) dual carriageway connection to Lincoln and J21A of the M1, and the A1 (the north south link between London and the north east of England/Scotland).  Newark Northgate train station is also less than 1 mile from the site, providing direct north/south connectivity to London and Edinburgh on the East Coast line.

“This acquisition took some time but eventually we managed to complete.  The deal reflected splitting the site into two – a sale and part leaseback with the yard now separately fenced and metered with all its own utilities now being on the market to let.  The appraisal consisted of creating two separate Titles and hopefully finding two separate tenants providing a combined rental income and future opportunities.  

The yard is a circa 0.73 acre site of tarmac and concrete with 360°c fencing and large security gates, floodlights alongside water supply and drainage.  The site is ideal for any external/hardstanding storge use for lorries, parts, materials and parking and I very much look forward to speaking to interested parties.”
