Another success story in the independent F&B sector lies in 13th Element’s new premises on Castle Boulevard, Nottingham, where Liam Russell has expanded his business into its standalone restaurant and is almost ready to open.

The plant-based concept was originally trialled and incubated in the Nottingham Street Food Club, another one of FHP’s successful independent projects which has now gone from strength to strength supporting hundreds of independent F&B jobs and operators, including Liam and his team at 13th Element.

13th Element had recently taken charge of the kitchen at The Golden Fleece on Mansfield Road for a number of months and provided its loyal customers with a wide range of fully plant based vegan products throughout the period when eating out wasn’t an option; but has since taken 101 Castle Boulevard, Nottingham on a new permanent lease.

Liam Russell commented as follows:-

“It is great to be almost ready to open our doors to dining guests although we have been serving our customers on Deliveroo and Uber Eats for some time. Working with Jack on Castle Boulevard was a pleasure and we look forward to working with FHP on any future projects as we continue to grow the business.”

Jack Shakespeare MRICS of FHP Property Consultants comments:-

“It is great to see an independent business originally take space in the Street Food Club which is another one of my projects alongside Nathaniel Wilson which brought independent food traders into Victoria Centre over 2 years ago and has gone from strength to strength. To see a business succeed there and go on to acquire a stand alone restaurant is truly inspiring and I look forward to finally being able to eat in 101 Castle Boulevard as Liam’s creativity with a full plant based vegan menu is outstanding and I would say the best in class.”

FHP continue to work with a number of independent operators in the retail and food & beverage sectors. For property opportunities or to discuss further please get in touch with Jack Shakespeare on 07817 924 949 or email jack@fhp.co.uk.
