CONSTRUCTION UPDATE FROM THE EAST MIDLANDS INDUSTRIAL MARKET

The East Midlands is currently experiencing the highest level of speculative development of industrial / warehouse space. FHP Property Consultants have been instrumental in bringing forward a number of these developments and we are pleased to provide the following updates.

Castlewood Business Park positioned at A38 / Junction 28 M1 an established logistics and warehouse location. The site currently has two units under construction of 12,466m² (134,192ft²) & 16,426m² (176,817ft²) ready for August 2022. The scheme of two units is a joint venture between Clowes Developments and GLP.

EMDC, East Midlands Distribution Centre, Castle Donington a central location directly off the A50 and J24 of the M1. The joint venture of Clowes Developments and GLP is providing two further strategic Grade A warehouses of 17,611m² (189,573ft²) and 25,958m² (279,418ft²) ready for August 2022.

Blenheim Park, Nottingham at Junction 26 M1 just North of Nottingham City Centre where Wilson Bowden and Urban Logistics REIT are closing in on practical completion of 18,090ft², 24,140ft², 43,000ft² & 81,100ft². The units will reach practical completion next month and as it stands 3 of the 4 buildings are currently under offer.

Teal Park, Netherfield, Nottingham a scheme by AC Lloyd Commercial (ACL) and Henry Davidson Developments (HDD) with funder Northwood Logistics. The site is already home to a large trade scheme with a number of national names included. By August 2022 of this year there will be 6 larger industrial units ranging between 878m² (9,450ft²) up to 2,923m² (31,470ft²).

There is already strong demand and interest in all of these schemes, with the Logistics and Industrial team seeking further new opportunities to bring forward strategic land and development sites across the region.
