EUROPE’S LARGEST POKER CLUB TO OPEN IN NOTTINGHAM

Alan Pearson, Associate Partner of Fisher Hargreaves Proctor has agreed the sub-letting of the former Smilin Sams premises at Redfield Way, Nottingham.  The premises form part of the National Amusements Estate, with nearby occupiers including Showcase, Tenpin Bowl, Chiquitos, Frankie & Bennys and Nandos.  The property comprises of 15,400ft² of accommodation and has been let by way of a new sub-lease for a term of 15 years, subject to 5 yearly rent reviews at a commencing rent of £200,000 per annum exclusive.

Alan Pearson of FHP commented, “Interest was expressed in the premises from a number of occupiers, including car showroom and leisure operators.  A deal was eventually concluded with Dusk til Dawn Poker, operated by Robert Yong, who is an avid poker player. 

Robert Yong of Dusk til Dawn commented, “We were pleased to secure these premises, which provide excellent accommodation for my venture.  The £4million project is due to open later this year, and will provide 51 poker tables, including a TV final table so that events can be broadcast.  Additional facilities will include, bar & restaurant facilities, together with VIP area.  This venue will become the largest and most prestigious poker venue in Europe.”
