FHP AGREE THE SALE OF A 4 ACRE SITE IN LENTON FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING

FHP acting on behalf of private investors have completed the sale, subject to planning, of a 4 acre site fronting Derby Road in Nottingham for the development of Affordable Housing. The site sits next to the Lenton Medical Centre close to the junction of Derby Road and Lenton Boulevard.

David Hargreaves of FHP who put the deal together said “This site has sat vacant for a number of years so it is good to see it will hopefully be developed with new Affordable Family Housing.”

The scheme will see 72 Houses delivered, if Planning Consent is granted by Nottingham City Council, by Keepmoat Homes.

Hargreaves said “The planners were clear they wanted Affordable Family Housing and so we targeted key players in this sector and after “Best Bids” terms were agreed with Keepmoat Homes whom have now submitted their planning application for 72 Houses to Nottingham City Council.”

FHP acted on behalf of the Vendors negotiating the sale, with Barry Sully of Browne Jacobson advising on the legal side.
