Award winning Chartered Surveyors Fisher Hargreaves Proctor (FHP) are delighted to announce the promotion of David Powell to Associate Partner within the Property Management Department.

David graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a Second Class First Division degree in Urban Land Economics in 2003, and after joining Fisher Hargreaves Proctor in 2004 subsquently became a Chartered Surveyor in 2008 after passing the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Conduct.

During his time at FHP David has gained a wealth of experience managing properties ranging from freehold shops, offices, and industrial units, through to multi-tenanted office blocks, mixed use schemes, and business parks predominately situated around the East Midlands. This has been undertaken on behalf of private investors, developers, management companies, and pension funds.

David commented;

“I am thrilled with my promotion to Associate Partner. Property management is often viewed as a poor relation but I believe it plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving the investment value of the properties we manage on behalf of our clients. The past couple of years have been extremely challenging and hard work, with the focus of property management work shifting. I do however consider that the experiences gained will only serve to improve the service we offer, and as such I look forward to assisting in the growth of the department!”

Rob Spencer, Head of the Property Management team at FHP commented;

I am really pleased that Dave’s contribution and hard work within the Property Management Department has been recognised and rewarded by my fellow Partners. Dave has gained a wide range of property experience within FHP, and is now utilising this to improve the service to both clients and tenants, and to enhance our management systems.”
