Retail News

Frankie Labbate, a Surveyor at FHP Property Consultants has let 70 High Road, Beeston, Nottingham acting on behalf of a private individual to CEX.

CEX have circa 250 branches in the UK, Spain, USA, India and Australia and are continuing to expand their popular brand.  Their move into Beeston is a long anticipated one which they have been waiting for the right unit for some time.  The opening of this branch in such a prominent location clearly highlights the demand from retailers for the town.  The opening of this store clearly illustrates their intent on not only dominating the market in prime city centres but also in prime suburban shopping districts throughout the UK.

Frankie Labbate of FHP commented:

I am delighted to secure CEX on competitive terms.  I have no doubt that the mixture of students, young professionals and families within the area will provide a strong demand for CEX services and that their business will prosper as a result of the high demand and lack of supply for quality electronic products within the vicinity.

There are live requirements for Beeston from CEX competitors but CEX have certainly won the race to secure a prime position within the town.

CEX have commenced their fit out and I have no doubt that they will have every success in this location.  Furthermore, I have no doubt their new store will be well utilised and sustainable in years to come.  Hopefully, the letting to this national covenant will encourage other retailers who have been reluctant to commit to the high street in the past 12 months due to the anticipated development of The Square Shopping Centre”.
