David Hargreaves of FHP acting on behalf of the Landlords of the Farndon Boathouse completed a new letting to Kane Oliver.
Hargreaves said: “This is a stunning site on the banks of the River Trent in Newark which we were instructed to market by the Landlords. From our position of strength in the East Midlands leisure market we were able to identify 8 potential tenants who we directly targeted, resulting in the letting to Kane Oliver who operates a number of restaurants and bars in Nottinghamshire.
We were able to agree terms quickly and with support from Antonia Gardner of Gunner Cooke the deal was completed in 8 weeks from first introduction to legal completion which is pretty much unheard of these days.”
Kane Oliver said: “We feel so lucky to have secured such a stunning spot on the river, and even luckier to have brought in a brilliant new head chef and a team of genuinely lovely, talented staff. The response has been overwhelming, with over 5,000 visitors joining us in our very first month alone. It’s been incredible. I just want to say a heartfelt thank you and invite everyone to come down and see what we’ve created – amazing food, friendly faces, and a totally revitalised restaurant and menu we’re really proud of. This would not all of been possible without David and his team at FHP.”
