Acting on behalf of Bankmist Properties, Fisher Hargreaves Proctor has successfully let 1 Bridlesmith Gate, Nottingham to “Roast It”.

The property was formerly occupied by North American Travel and has now been let on the basis of a new 10 year lease.  The property provides a ground floor sales area of 323ft² together with a first floor of 345ft².

Ben Tebbutt of FHP commented:-

“The property has been let to Jem Leisure, the company run by Edward and James Mellors.  Edward and his brother are the people responsible for the Big Wheel in Nottingham’s Market Square, now making it’s second appearance.”

Edward Mellors commented:-

“We have been searching for a site in Nottingham city centre for sometime.  Bridlesmith Gate is the perfect location for this business.  We aim to provide quality lunchtime food providing the customer with a genuine alternative to the likes of Pret a Manger. Hot roast meats and freshly baked bread are proving a real attraction so far.”

“It is hoped that this will be the first of many stores for “Roast It”.  We are already starting to look for store number two.”
