FHP Living which was formed 25 years ago by Brian Fisher, David Hargreaves and John Proctor, have completed the sale of their Lettings and Management Department under the leadership of Luke Pritchett to Lomond Group who trade as John Shepherd in the Midlands.
David Hargreaves who led the sale negotiations said:-
“We have had a number of approaches over the years for our business but John Shepherd felt the best fit for our clients and also offered the best career opportunities for our Lettings and Management Team”.
He went on to say:-
“We have retained our Sales business and our prime West Bridgford office under the Leadership of Jules Hunt and Jason Cook and our focus will now be on the growth of that business.
Director Jules Hunt said:-
“Last year our Sales business had a strong year and turned over more than £1m selling 238 Houses for £130 million primarily in The Park, Mapperley Park, the City Centre and West Bridgford and its surrounding areas. Our aim is to grow this by 15% over the next 12 months.”
Fellow Director, Jason Cook who heads The Park and Mapperley Park said:-
“We currently have a wide range of amazing properties on the market with 209 homes for sale. So far this year we have sold 147 houses with 74 Sales agreed and in solicitors’ hands at an average sale price of £474,000.”
Jason went on to say:-
“We have recently appointed well-known Agent, Mark Howard, as an Associate Director to help drive expansion and geographical coverage.”
Director Andrew Chapman said:-
“Now that all our focus is on Sales we are looking to really push further afield to cover Bramcote, Wollaton, Woodborough, Woodthorpe and Mapperley as well as the Vale of Belvoir and take on more young ambitious and driven surveyors that buy in to the FHP Living ethos.”
John Proctor one of the founders of the business said:-
“As always our aim is to value accurately and then deliver a John Lewis level of personal service to our clients at what is one of the most stressful times of their life – moving house – but now we aim to bring those standards to a larger geographical area.”
David Hargreaves added:-
“As we focus on growing our business, we will not forget our role in society and FHP Living will continue to support a wide variety of local Schools and Charities.”
Hargreaves confirmed that over recent months donations have been made by FHP Living to Emmanuel House to help purchase their property in Hockley from the City Council, to The Welbeck School in The Meadows to build a new Sensory Room, to The Rosie May Foundation to support their Xmas programme, to Pasic – the Children’s Cancer Charity based at QMC, to Footprints the Conductive Education Centre at Clifton, to Pulp Friction at Bestwood and for a second year we support the Nottingham Children’s Team at The UK Transplant Games in 2027.
