FHP RECEIVING A THIRST FOR THRESHER’S STORES

June 6, 2008

Retail News

Another successful disposal of a former Thresher store has recently been completed by retained agents Fisher Hargreaves Proctor.

The shop is situated at 359 Welford Road, a popular arterial route into the City Centre. The ground floor retail unit comprises 934ft² and was held subject to a lease at a passing rent of £12,250 per annum, expiring March 2012.

The lease was assigned to a local operator for continued use as an off licence.

Hannah Chapman of Fisher Hargreaves Proctor commented:-

“Since being retained by Thresher to dispose of their surplus stores in the Midlands and East Anglia region, we have received an encouraging level of interest in most stores despite the current economic conditions. We were pleased to have secured another successful completion on behalf of our clients, further decreasing their number of surplus stores.”

For further information on any of the Thresher disposals in the Midlands / East Anglia region, please contact Hannah Chapman or Mark Bradley of Fisher Hargreaves Proctor.
