FHP RELOCATE THE SALVATION ARMY IN BEESTON

November 20, 2013

Retail News

On behalf of Beeston Road Limited, Frankie Labbate, a Surveyor at FHP Property Consultants has let 63-65 High Road, Beeston to The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army have been in Beeston for a number of years now and have been looking to relocate from their existing store within The Square Shopping Centre for the last 18 months.  The opening of this branch in a more prominent and busy location clearly highlights their ambition of cementing themselves into the primer pitches in suburban town such as Beeston.

Frankie Labbate of FHP commented:

I am delighted to secure such a strong covenant for my client and for Beeston as a whole.  I have no doubt that this new space will be a success for them and make their stay within Beeston more sustainable moving forwards.

There was a high level of interest in this property but I felt that The Salvation Army would be the best candidate taking into account their loyal customer base already being present within the town.

The Salvation Army have completed their fit out, commenced trading and have been very busy already.  Hopefully this letting, accompanied by the letting to 70 High Road to CEX will send a signal to other retails that Beeston is going through the process of revival.”
