Acting on behalf of Clowes Developments (UK) Ltd, Fisher Hargreaves Proctor has let 22 Cornmarket, Derby to Money Shop on a 10 year effectively full repairing and insuring lease at a rent of £40,000 per annum subject to rent review at the end of the fifth year.

The premises, which occupy a prominent location close to the junction of Cornmarket and St Peters Street, comprise ground floor sales of 593ft² together with basement storage of 481ft² and were formerly occupied by Benjy’s Sandwich Bar.

Mark Bradley of FHP commented:-

“The success in securing this letting to a national multiple after a period of extensive marketing is particularly pleasing in this difficult market and also taking into account the challenges which are facing both landlords and occupiers within the Cathedral Quarter of the city centre.”
