FHP SECURE FIRST TENANT FOR HARRIMANS COURT AT RECORD RENT

Fisher Hargreaves Proctor are delighted to announce that they have successfully secured the first tenant at the recently completed industrial courtyard development known as Harrimans Court, Harrimans Lane, Nottingham.  Motor Serv Limited have taken a 10 year lease on a 5,059ft² unit at £31,000 per annum exclusive.

The industrial development was only completed at the start of June and this first letting at £6.12 per sq ft represents a record rent for this type of unit in this area. 

James Hartley, Surveyor at Fisher Hargreaves Proctor commented, “This development has been hugely popular in recent months and although we are just completing our first lease at the development we expect a couple more deals to be completed in the next week or so.  We expect interest to be high in the remaining units on the popular Lenton Lane Industrial Estate due to its proximity to the Ring Road and being only 2.5 miles from Nottingham City Centre.

Motor Serv Limited the new tenant will be operating as Dav Mac and will be using the unit as a trade counter offering a wide range of car and motoring accessories as well as satellite navigation, car audio and multi-media equipment.”

Phil Murdoch the landlord commented, “We are very pleased to have seen our first tenant secured at Harrimans Court and I am sure there will be many more to follow.  I expect that in the coming weeks you will almost certainly hear of a number of other details completing.  To have attracted a tenant of the calibre of Moterserv as our first tenant is a real acknowledgement of the quality of our scheme and is particularly pleasing for myself and our agents, Fisher Hargreaves Proctor.

We do still have a number of units remaining and can satisfy requirements ranging from around 4,300ft² up to approximately 15,000ft².”

Carl Roy of Moter Serv Limited added, “We have been looking to come to Nottingham and set up a new branch for quite a while now and once we had seen Harrimans Court it did not take us long to make a decision that this was the right place for us to be.

The location, being close to the Ring Road is fantastic for us and the size and specification of unit is just right,  We will be looking to open in August 2008 and I am looking forward to seeing us up and running in this unit.”
