Acting on behalf of a private property landlord, FHP has negotiated terms with Heron Foods to extend their existing branch into the adjoining unit to double the size of the store.

A surrender of Heron’s lease of Unit D, 77-79 Market Place, Bulwell was completed simultaneously with the grant of a new lease on the combined Units C & D at a rental of £60,000 per annum on a new 10 year lease without breaks and subject to 9 months rent free period to allow Heron to undertake the amalgamation works.

Mark Bradley of FHP who handled the negotiations commented:-

When Unit C became vacant following the administration of Ethel Austin, Heron Foods were quickly identified as having a requirement for an enlarged store to compete with Farmfoods and Iceland in Bulwell and therefore this opportunity was ideal for them to double the size of their existing store by securing the adjacent premises.”

FHP acted jointly with Rob Alston of Cushman & Wakefield and Heron represented themselves.
