Mark Tomlinson of FHP Property Consultants has recently concluded the sale of Sutton Place in The Lace Market, the building providing some 15,000 sq ft of offices with penthouse apartment which has been sold recently to Perrymead Estates Limited who intend to convert the building into a range of high end city centre apartments.

This Grade II listed building is located in the heart of The Lace Market with excellent views over St Mary’s Church and will no doubt be a fine addition to Nottingham’s residential offer, the planning process is now underway.

“The continued appetite for city centre ‘loft style’ apartments means that we are still receiving strong interest from developers to convert office buildings into residential accommodation. We received interest from office investors and residential developers for this building but the strongest bids we received were from the developers. We await further details on the planned scheme but undoubtedly this is going to be an excellent addition to the city centre residential offer harvesting the original features of this former lace building and the excellent views over St Mary’s Church”.
