A PRESTIGIOUS new £2.2m office complex in Mansfield town centre was officially opened on 30 July 2008.

Mansfield mayor Tony Egginton is set to open the Arrival Square development next to the town’s railway station, which has been completed by construction company Clegg Developments.

Mr Egginton told Chad: "Arrival Square brings modern, high quality employment accommodation into an important area of Mansfield and will provide an impressive base for businesses and a landmark building, as well as providing good employment opportunities for local people and boosting other businesses in the town centre.

"The opening of Arrival Square is also a significant first step towards our vision for the regeneration of the Stockwell Gate gateway into Mansfield, which also includes new residential and retail development and the new bus station.”

The 11,000 sq ft development has a number of environmentally-friendly features and can be split into four separate office suites, which are now being marketed by commercial property agents FHP.

Funding for the project came from the Alliance Sub-Regional Strategic Partnership and the European Regional Development Fund.
