Luvyababes, the fancy dress emporium, have secured a new lease and refitted their store in Westfield Derby following an initial trial in a deal secured by FHP Property Consultants.

Luvyababes had initially taken occupation in the former Pure Party unit from the administration of Birthdays and taken a new ten year lease of 2,579ft² and refitted it in their new corporate format.

This is Luvyababes’ third outlet following lettings in Manchester Arndale and Intu Victoria Centre, Nottingham.

David Williams of Luvyababes commented:

“We are delighted to secure a long term future in Westfield Derby which has now been refitted and shows the direction we wish to take the business, we provide a wide range of fancy dress goods in a quality shopping environment.   We are ideally suited to larger shopping centres with a strong student university and college population, which Derby provides.

We will continue to look at opportunities in other university towns and cities with a view to securing another two outlets in 2014”.

David Richardson of FHP Property Consultants commented:

“Following the closure of Pure Party through the Birthdays administration, it presented the ideal opportunity to secure Luvyababes who were spotted on a town trip to Manchester previously.  Following their opening in Intu Victoria Centre, Nottingham, we were able to secure them on an initial trial which proved successful and we are delighted to have secured the long term future of Luvyababes within Derby”.
