M & S UNIT AT EMDC RAPIDLY TAKING SHAPE

The new 1,000,000ft² distribution centre for Marks & Spencer at Clowes Developments EMDC is rapidly taking
shape.  The first 300,000ft² will be handed over the Marks & Spencer for initial fit out in August.  This is one of the largest distribution units under construction in the UK rivalled by Amazon’s 1,000,000ft² in Scotland and B&Q’s 800,000ft² unit in Swindon.  Clowes Developments are shortly to re-launch the next phase of marketing – the site still has the capability to provide cross docked units of up to 545,000ft² in size.
