Industrial/Warehouse News
Fairham Business Park at Nottingham, set outside of Nottingham’s Workplace Parking Levy and adjoining the A453 which links the city to the M1 motorway, continues to see terrific success and now anybody interested in the site can see progress for themselves via two live cameras we have tracking construction on site.
Currently underway are the construction of a 100,000 sq ft unit for Clean Linen, the UK’s leading commercial laundry, and a further 30,000 sq ft building being constructed for a Nottingham occupier who, for the time being at least, we need to keep the identity of quiet!
What’s great about these units is that whilst they augment Fairham and add to the over 500,000 sq ft already built and occupied on the site, you can see progress for yourself via internal and external live camera feeds that are constantly updating showing progress on the site. The videos can be accessed at:
Unit C1 – www.clowesdevelopments.reachtimelapse.co.uk/fairham/unitc1
Unit C2: www.clowesdevelopments.reachtimelapse.co.uk/fairham/unitc2
Agents for the scheme are Tim Gilbertson of FHP Property Consultants and Rob Champion of Fisher German and they were pleased to add their thoughts, Tim Gilbertson commented:
“It’s great we have these cameras on site as they offer a unique viewpoint for any potential future occupiers or just generally interested parties to see the speed of build and the quality of construction by our clients here. The cameras show two buildings going up which will be ready for occupation in Q1/Q2 2026 with both buildings already taken, one on a pre-sale and one on a pre-let.
The cameras are great from our perspective as it gives any other potential occupiers of the scheme a real sense of the quality of build and how quickly these projects progress, which hopefully encourages other occupiers to speak to us as we still have plenty of space left for development on Fairham.”
Rob Champion of Fisher German added:
“Fairham’s continued growth with the construction of these two new buildings is testament to its exemplar location and immediate surroundings. The wider scheme continues to evolve with the construction of housing and we will see further complementary uses added as time moves on.
Having live visual access to activities on site allows those who are interested to monitor progress and proves that, despite wider economic uncertainty, high quality developments of this nature continue to attract the very best national and regional businesses who want to have premium buildings delivered for them.”
