FHP News

Leading commercial property firm, Fisher Hargreaves Proctor (FHP), has appointed a new Associate Partner within their Derby office; Adam Wilson takes up the role as Head of FHP’s Derby office.

Adam, who specialises in professional advice including, rent reviews, lease renewals, rating, compulsory purchase compensation and valuation will now manage the day to day operations of the Derby office.

Fisher Hargreaves Proctor has long since recognised the growing importance of Derby as a successful commercial centre and is playing its part in the regeneration of the city.  The Westfield Centre shows the true ambition of Derby and Fisher Hargreaves Proctor is reflecting that in the promotion of this key member of staff.

Adam joined Fisher Hargreaves Proctor as a graduate from Nottingham Trent University in June 2005 to work within the Professional Department at their Nottingham office.

Adam says "I am absolutely delighted to have been promoted to Associate Partner and gladly accept the role as Head of the Derby office.  Since joining the Derby office in 2007 I have been involved in a variety of projects across the county and have worked with some interesting people.  I look forward to further building relations in the Derby property markets and overseeing the onward growth of this office ".

Fisher Hargreaves Proctor continues to work hard to strengthen its ties with and show commitment to the City.

Partner, John Proctor comments

"When we originally formed FHP some 20 years ago we viewed the Nottingham, Derby, Leicester triangle as one market and we have been actively involved in Derby from day one.

In response to our increased involvement within the City we opened our Derby Office approximately four years ago – over this period of time we have built stronger links with the Banks and Derby professionals and have been fortunate enough to have been involved in a number of key projects such as the Jury’s Inn Hotel, the Carter and Carter Training Complex on Pride Park, Victory Park and the Riverlights Retail and Leisure proposals.”

Of Adam, John continues..

He has been instrumental in the onward growth of our office over the past two years and fully deserves his new status within the company – he is a highly qualified, articulate and ambitious surveyor whose long term future is committed to Derby.”

Proctor concludes by saying

Whilst our headquarters is based in Nottingham the founding Partners are all from outside of the area.  The Derby market is equally important to FHP as Nottingham is and indeed with the changing face of Derby – particularly as a consequence of the Westfield Centre – we are excited by the challenge of continuing to help change the face of Derby.

Alongside Adam we are placing experienced Retail and Industrial Surveyors with a high level of expertise in each area.

We are excited by Derby’s progressive outlook and the future of our office – we look forward to being part of the ongoing success story within the City."
