Acting on behalf of long established Leeds based property company, Pullan’s, Tim Gilbertson of FHP has concluded the letting of a unit on Hawthorn Road off Trent Lane in Castle Donington of just under 25,000ft² to Medstrom Limited, a leading supplier of specialist hospital beds and bed management services to the NHS. Matthew Liggins of Musson Liggins acted on behalf of Medstrom.
This latest transaction in Castle Donington sees more success in this always sought after location which benefits from excellent transport links to the M1, East Midlands Airport and the East Midlands main cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.
This detached warehouse set on a good sized site created substantial interest from the off and a deal was quickly agreed.
Tim Gilbertson commented:
“I had previously let this building for our client some years ago and was delighted to see it become available again as I knew it would immediately fill a hole in the market for good quality warehouse space in the region.
Strong interest was received from our targeted marketing from the word go and it was great to agree a deal with Matt Liggins acting on behalf of Medstrom having previously let them other space area some years before.
Their continued growth is impressive and I am sure this building will serve them well for the future.
It does leave us with the perennial problem of lack of existing space in the region but for any frustrated occupiers looking to buy or rent we will have a further site coming to the market shortly, full details to be provided in due course, where we can accommodate small or large industrial/manufacturing and other commercial requirements on freehold or leasehold terms in Castle Donington.
