Clowes Developments (UK) Limited have confirmed that they have agreed terms to construct a new warehouse facility for Birlea Furniture at their flagship East Midlands Distribution Centre, Castle Donington, Junction 24, M1.

Birlea Furniture already occupy approximately 85,000ft² on the site and the new 74,000ft² facility will be alongside their existing premises and will help them to continue the expansion of their growing online and wholesale furniture business.

It is understood that Birlea are purchasing the new facility which will be completed in June 2017 with groundworks now underway on site.

Seeing long term clients expand and grow is always a satisfying moment, particularly when as an individual you can assist in a very small way with their ongoing success.  A case in point being Tim Gilbertson of FHP’s continued involvement with Falcon Panel Products as they continue their expansion on the back of business success.

Having previously helped Falcon acquire space in Nottingham and Birmingham, Tim Gilbertson has now concluded on their behalf the acquisition of a 30,000ft² unit in Haydock to serve the north west as their business and brand continues to grow.

Tim Gilbertson commented:

“I first assisted Falcon with their property requirements some 10 years ago or more initially disposing of an older style warehouse and acquiring a new one, before then re-housing them again within the East Midlands.  Subsequent deals have now seen them take space in Birmingham and most recently Haydock as their business grows and I am delighted to continue my involvement with this successful company.
