It is now legally required for agents and landlords or sellers who are placing properties on the market to commission an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) before marketing begins. If you're not able to produce an EPC, you could face fines of up to £5,000.
Profile
An EPC is a record of a building's energy efficiency, enabling prospective buyers and tenants to take energy efficiency and fuel costs into consideration as part of their investment.
Steve Gillott is a Level 4 EPC Assessor who is able to undertake and lodge EPCs in parallel with our Agency Teams to prevent delays in marketing your property and to satisfy our legal requirements.
As part of our EPC service, we'll give you an informed energy rating and supply you with your certificate. You'll also receive a recommendations report on how you could improve the efficiency of your premises.
