ANOTHER FREEHOLD SOLD – FHP COMPLETE THE SALE OF PREMISES ON LARGE PLOT AT ILKESTON

Set on the periphery of the former Stanton Ironworks at Ilkeston, Tim Gilbertson of FHP has sold surplus warehouse premises on a large site to expanding local companies.

The deal concluded sees the large warehouse plus extensive site of over 3 acres sold to two local companies, MAP Engineering Supplies and Advanced Roofing, both represented by Andrew Butcher Surveyors.

Tim Gilbertson of FHP who dealt with the sale commented:

“The improvement in the market over the last few months can be clearly seen in this sale.  Since placing the property ‘under offer’ the property could have been sold two or three times over to frustrated local occupiers seeking to expand and purchase their own premises. 

Demand is certainly improving in the industrial and warehouse sector and supply of stock is poor, particularly for opportunities to buy and as ever those that are available to purchase and which benefit from a large yard are extremely sought after. 

We wish the new occupiers well having dealt with the sale via their agent Andrew Butcher.
