Industrial/Warehouse News
FHP are delighted that the former Park House office on Private Road No.2 in Colwick has now been demolished by Total Reclaims for our client Radford Holdings. We have a fully cleared site with planning permission to erect five individual units which can be combined or let individually to suit requirements with the scheme totalling 19,418ft².
The site is located just off Private No.2 on Colwick Industrial Estate just off the A612 Colwick Loop Road which provides easy access from the A52 and A46 and is positioned 4 miles west of Nottingham City Centre in close proximity to Nottingham’s main two routes. The site is situated nearby Sainsbury’s, MKM Builders Merchants, Ken Wilkins Print Limited and Hillarys and benefits from nearby transport links such as Netherfield train station, local bus routes and Nottingham’s Park & Ride.
The main contractors commenced work on Monday 15 June 2026 with the scheme aiming to be ready by Q1 2027.

This is a really exciting scheme for Colwick and will deliver brand new units in a market where there is a real shortage of brand new industrial space with the specification of the units to include:
- Steel portal frame construction
- 6 metre eaves
- 3 Phase electricity
- Large electric roller shutter doors
- Personnel doors
- WC’s and office facilities
- Tarmac yard/car park
- Good circulation

Anthony Barrowcliffe of FHP commented:
“This is a really exciting scheme for Colwick and one that I am very excited about due to a lack of new build industrial stock on the market. Radford Holdings are a great client of mine and have been very brave in demolishing the existing office building and building out this industrial scheme speculatively. I admire any developer that is willing to do this and this is where I feel real success is achieved, when developers are willing to build things speculatively as the demand is most certainly there.
Not only is this a great development for the area but it will bring in employment and can offer many size combinations to suit all kinds of requirements and if early conversations are had then influence on design and specification can be had.”
