Acting on behalf of a private vendor, FHP has negotiated the freehold sale with vacant possession of a small retail unit at 6 Carolgate, Retford for a price of £150,000.
The premises containing a ground floor sales area of 386ft² together with upper floors, had been vacant for over 12 months following the expiry of the former lease to a local newspaper.
Mark Bradley of FHP who represented the vendor commented:-
“The premises became vacant at the height of the economic downturn and there was very little interest on a leasehold basis. Our client decided to offer the freehold for sale with vacant possession at an attractive price which generated interest from private individuals and a sale was quickly concluded with our client being able to re-invest the proceeds into another property purchase.”
The premises were sold to a local private property company who represented themselves.
