“I am delighted to have secured The Lacehouse for the former Sugar Bar which is situated in the popular location of Broadway between the Lace Market and Hockley leisure circuits”.

Sachin Nijran of The Lacehouse commented:

“We are delighted to have secured the leasehold of this former Lace Factory in a historic part of the city, and are looking forward to opening our new late night bar/restaurant in Spring 2012.

As a dynamic company led by local residents, we are excited at the challenge of breathing new life into the area by offering great live music, locally sourced produce for our food menu and the city’s most unique cocktail and rum menu, including the use of our homemade Lacehouse cordials and liqueurs.

Our hope is that the residents of Nottingham will have a creative, warm and social space from where they can eat, drink, work and play, while taking inspiration from the grand building and its industrial past.
