I am on a placement year from Nottingham Trent University where I study Real Estate BSc (Hons). FHP is a great place for me to grow and learn as a surveyor, providing me with the opportunity to work within both agency teams, for the region’s leading market consultants, giving me a broad insight into the different sectors of the industry. The next 12 months at FHP will provide me with the perfect foundation to build my career on top of and I can’t wait to get started.

As I am doing a placement year, my goal is to gain hands on experience in multiple sectors to provide myself with a breadth of industry knowledge going into my final year at university. Over the next year I will be assisting both the Office and Industrial team as well as the Retail and Leisure team, where I will be involved in mainly lettings and sales.

I have always been an avid football fan, supporting Nottingham Forest who I try to watch as often as I can (which is difficult at times in the sold out ‘world famous City Ground!’) I love to travel, and I’ve been lucky enough to visit some great places, my favorites being Sydney, New York and Singapore. I enjoy live music and try to go to as many gigs as I can, which is a great hobby to have living in Nottingham, as there are some great venues such as Rock City and Rough Trade.
