I started in facilities management in 2005 working on a national PFI contract and in 2007 moved to London with that organisation. In London I moved to a commercial management role and then, in 2008, on to a residential management role in the East Midlands to be nearer family and friends. After a brief spell travelling in 2011, I returned to the PFI sector in the East Midlands before joining FHP in February 2014.
Being here at FHP is a great opportunity to take on new challenges in an exciting environment where I can make a positive impact.
I am responsible for a portfolio of commercial properties located in the East Midlands which contains well known buildings in the Nottingham City Centre.
The role includes collection of rent and service charges, providing advice to landlords on their investments, dealing with tenant issues, arranging reactive and planned maintenance as well as ensuring statutory compliance and other risks are well managed amongst many other duties.
I see my key function as maintaining and improving the value of our client’s assets and protecting their liabilities.
Currently I am focused on a new instruction from a private client to manage the Imperial Building on Victoria Street, Nottingham which is a landmark building in the city centre where we will be providing full management services.
I’m pretty active and enjoy rock climbing, jogging and mountain biking. I also follow Formula One and boxing. Cooking is a passion of mine and I’m constantly trying to learn new dishes or improve old ones. My fiancé and I have recently bought our first house so DIY is taking up a lot of my free time!
“In the space of approximately two years since I appointed FHP as Managing and Letting Agents for my property at the Ropewalk in Ilkeston FHP have almost tripled the rent roll. The efforts and enthusiasm of FHP have resulted in the estate being virtually 100% let, the whole team are a pleasure to deal with and I cannot thank them enough.”
