This investment certainly made it much easier to let these units, as we are generally seeing a real lack of good quality stock throughout the East Midlands. The market has become very uncertain and extremely challenging, which can only be linked to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

There is no doubt that enquiries and viewing numbers have dropped since the summer period, but with limited availability and little under construction, existing stock is reducing. That said, pleasingly, we are seeing businesses starting to be more progressive, discussing their property requirements, viewing options and making offers.”
