Oliver Daniels

I am a member of the Retail and Leisure team at FHP, working in the Birmingham office alongside Doug Tweedie and Caine Gilchrist, operating all across the West Midlands and beyond. Since joining the firm, I have gained valuable experience in the retail and leisure sector, advising a wide range of clients on both, acquisitions and disposals. With the wider team’s guidance, I continue to develop a well-rounded understanding of the property market and the needs of both, landlords and occupiers.

I predominantly focus on high street and shopping centre disposal instructions, advising clients in the retail and leisure sector. That being said, I maintain a varied workload to develop my experience for the APC Training, including landlord and tenant instructions, acquisitions and disposals. I advise clients in Birmingham City Centre, the wider West Midlands and beyond building strong connections with both owners and occupiers.

Having graduated in 2023, I joined FHP straight out of university. Alongside my first two years at the firm, I completed my Master’s degree in Real Estate Management. I am currently training for the APC and building a strong foundation in the retail and leisure sectors across the West Midlands. I have advised a wide range of clients on an agency basis, with notable assets including The Guildhall Buildings, Chamberlain Place, The Roundhouse and the Cornbow, Ryemarket and Grosvenor Shopping Centres.

Clients I have worked closely with include EP Group, Heimstaden, Investin Plc, Canal & River Trust, Orbit Property Management, and acquisition clients Starbucks, One Stop and Loungers.

I am not picky when it comes to watching sport, whatever is on I’ll happily watch for hours. I like to try and stay active with the gym being a part of my daily routine and always enjoy playing any sport with mates. When time and money allow, I love to travel and am always looking forward to the next trip.
